Expertise in matters and Fieldskills joined together

Fieldskills and expertise in education have been delivering security University fieldwork training in universities, including Oxford, Leeds, Nottingham and Bristol since 2008.

Now working together under the banner of expertise in education are designed to best practice and skills through practical scenarios and group discussions on university education fieldwork for students safety and planning staff to perform fieldwork. To give you a taste, here are some key points regarding the safety of fieldwork:

Being eaten by a tiger might seem like the biggest danger for fieldwork, but the more mundane things like malaria and road accidents to be programmed; It is quite likely to happen and have major consequences: they perceive the risks vs. the real dangers. This is particularly true in remote environments where pre-planning tucked in his if dealing with an incident when away from help, and is why fieldworkers should generate overall risk estimates.

Risk assessments are usually accompanied by a groan and despair: a little tedious paper work achieve the ultimate objective? It is not so. These pieces of paper is key to being able to deal with the problems. Risk assessments to identify hazards fieldworkers allows, to reduce any risk to acceptable levels and eventually to carry out safe and successful fieldwork. But the whole team should be aware of the risk assessment-how can work to protect them, if you don't know exists? Risk assessment needs to be changed dynamically in the field dealing with changing conditions, usually done by writing a field diary.

The key message is to not put away are just beginning to think about all the things that could go wrong in fieldwork. Fieldwork challenging, before during and after, but completing detailed pre-planning, ultimately leading to a safe and successful fieldwork.

Education University fieldwork safety know-how can be adapted to any fieldwork carried out: from the urban landscape in the depths of the jungle. Specialized knowledge is conveyed in a fun, practical way of experienced instructors, who come to universities for anything from a few hours to a few days, depending on the requirements of the University.
